This is a tutorial on how to combine two animations on one canvas, created with Animationshop3

Could be there`s an easier way to do this, but it works for me just fine

So, we`re going to put these two animations onto one canvas (I`m lazy, I simply just (edited and ) used two of my latest animations for this tutorial)

I`ve already explained how I do my animations, my *svala`s animation 101* can be found here:

general animation tutorial (in 3 parts) CLICK CLICK

done with PaintShopPro9 and Animationshop3

creating a 2in1 is easy, once you have the animations you want to combine.

I take it you already have two finished anis, awesome, let`s go to Animationshop3

This is a coloring tutorial for my previously postes Boston Legal Animations

animations ... click

I`ve used the same coloring for all anis, it seems to work really well for Boston Legal.
No idea if it`ll work for other shows/movies as well. Maybe if you play with the setting/layer

Anyway

It`s a new year, it`s my first post in 2013.

Recently I`ve had some *fun* with a few Farscape caps. I didn`t want to loose the settings = (a simple) coloring tutorial

These caps I`ve done for a Farscape graphic entry, but it is not complete, yet.

INFO

It`s the end of the world as we know it

A new year, a new game

I bit the bullet, and created a Tumblr account

kahesha aka svala@tumblr

I couldn´t use "Svala" because the name is already taken at Tumblr

I`m still trying to figure out how tumblr works
(this time, last year, I didn´t even know what tumblr is)

Don´t worry, I`m not gonna spam the comm with each and every tumblr graphic.
Maybe I`ll post a round-up each month, maybe not

I`m going to add this tutorial to the comm, only because I don`t want to loose it in case my toaster, aka the laptop, dies.

This is the base coloring I used for my SPN Purgatory Animations. I`ve tried a lot of settings for the caps, nothing turned out the way I wanted it to be. Then I thought I try something completely different = result

This is my (very own) Purgatory coloring in a few easy steps

Progam used: PaintShopPro9 (it`s nothing fancy, so: translatable)

This is a tutorial on how I do my animations. I`ve been asked several times already how I do it. Each time I tried to answere as best as I could. But (almost) each time, as soon as I mentioned I`m using PaintShopPro, most people ran away, never to be seen again.

Now I thought I finaly put together this tutorial. This way I don`t have to explain everything again next time I`m asked about my animations, and I save a lot of time in case the next one asking goes running also because of PSP.

Soooo, I`m using PaintShopPro 9 for my graphics, AnimationShop3 for my animations.

(do NOT ask me because of Photoshop and ImageReady. There are hundreds, thousands, of tutorials for PS and IR)

For this tutorial I`m not going to explain PSP to you. I take it you know your way around the program, are familiar with the layer settings, and the image settings (how to create and open a new picture aso)

I`ve added a few (awesome!) external tutorials for some of the PSP features, and for screencap programs.

I`m using PaintShopPro to prepare all of my screencaps for the animations, I use AnimationShop3 ONLY to put together the finished animation caps

I`ve tried to explain everyting as good as I can.

REMEMBER: this is NOT a tutorial about how to run PSP and AS3 the best way possible, this is a tutorial about how I do it!
